I'm thrilled to finally be joining TVRC!

After graduating with a Kinesiology degree from McMaster University, my career path changed when I discovered the field of veterinary physical rehabilitation. A lifelong love of animals led me to complete the Veterinary Technician program at Seneca College in 2015 before becoming a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner through the University of Tennessee in 2016.

I have over 7 years of experience in shelter medicine, working as a Registered Veterinary Technician at a busy Toronto animal shelter. During that time I developed the shelter's physical rehab program and loved working closely with those most vulnerable animals to improve their mobility and function before moving on to adoption.

I have a keen interest in assistive devices, and have spent time working as an animal orthoses and prostheses assistant at PawsAbility. In 2022 I obtained the Certified Veterinary Pain Practitioner designation through the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management and I am also a Fear Free Certified Professional, committed to advocating for both the physical and emotional wellbeing of my patients.
