I am so excited to be a part of the Toronto Veterinary Rehabilitation Centre team!

Throughout my career in veterinary medicine I have been involved with many different aspects of animal care but my passion has always been animal rehabilitation. I graduated from the University of Guelph in 2013 earning a Bachelor of Science (Honours in Animal Biology) and while completing my degree, I found my passion for animal rehabilitation. In 2015 I graduated from Seneca College as a Registered Veterinary Technician, then went on to earn my certification as a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner from the University of Tennessee in 2016. Later that year I was additionally certified as a Canine Massage Therapist by the Royal Canadian College of Massage. Most recently I earned my certification as a Certified Veterinary Pain Practitioner from the International Veterinary Association of Pain Management.

I have several years of rehabilitation experience, including three years overseeing the rehabilitation department at a veterinary emergency and referral hospital in Toronto. I have treated a wide variety of conditions but have a special passion for neurological rehabilitation, geriatric care, and pain management. I love to spread my rehab love by mentoring veterinary technician and CCRP students, as well as speaking for veterinary technician programs and veterinary conferences.

In my spare time, I love adventuring with my husband and 2 pups, Roxie and Olga. Roxie is a foster fail, whom I fell head over heels for while rehabbing her multiple knee surgeries. Roxie’s sister Olga joined the family when my husband became a CBSA dog handler. Olga is a food plant and animal CBSA sniffer dog, and Roxie’s new best friend! I always strives to provide the finest level of care to my patients and can’t wait to help your pet along their road to recovery!
