I am so happy to be a part of the Toronto Veterinary Rehabilitation Centre, and to meet all of our patients!
I am a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), who graduated from Seneca College in the spring of 2024. I am certified in Acute Self Care for Veterinary Professionals, having completed that course during my time as a student at Seneca College. I am currently working on my companion animal rehabilitation certification!
After coming across the Toronto Veterinary Rehabilitation Centre during one of my class lectures, I reached out to TVRC for a summer job. I had no idea at the time that I was about to find my calling, my passion, and my love of rehabilitation. I now work along side the most amazing group of women who dedicate time to the wellbeing of our furry companions, and I feel so grateful to be here.
I have been involved in the veterinary medicine field for a few years now, and recently returned from a veterinary technician out reach trip to Costa Rica, where we came across so many different species of flora and fauna. Being provided the hands on experience of helping animals and learning about the Costa Rican culture solidified that working in rehabilitation is what I want to do. It was truly a life changing journey.
Of course, I wanted to introduce you to the dog who put me on my path of becoming a registered veterinary technician! My 13-year-old Schnoodle, Cody, has been by my side throughout every chapter of my life, and is the reason I chose the veterinary medicine as my career. To have the knowledge and ability to help our companion animals is a true gift. After all, our dogs are our family!
I look forward to so many wonderful adventures with the Toronto Veterinary Rehabilitation Centre family, clients, and patients!
